today my roomate and i, quite hungover and looking for adventure, drove out on the blue ridge parkway. (i live in asheville, nc)
we turned the music up and sang and talked and acted silly.
we almost ran over a flock of turkeys (are turkeys in flocks?) that were chillin in the middle of the road.
and we went through 5 tunnels.
and we put on charlie's mix (i burned it)
and played "asleep" full blast as we went through each one.
and we were most definitely infinite.

i think i my surroundings for granted. i went to western carolina university last year (i'm transferring this year) and i thought today how much i will miss being able to grab as many people that will fit in a car and driving through the mountains, just because.we would drive to the lake after class and swim all day, or explore the mountains, finding the best lookout points to sit and play music and talk and smoke pot (which is all you do at wcu). i'll be in charlotte in 3 weeks. no mountains. lots of traffic. le sigh...
